Accessing K-12 Education
When you sponsor a child through Footbridge, you join us in walking with that child—along with Christian leaders on the ground—as they move from struggling to thriving. Through consistent monthly support, letters, and prayers—you and your sponsored child build a relationship that makes a lasting difference.
We organize short-term mission trips to work with the missionaries we support every 2-3 years. You would have an opportunity to join us and get to meet your child. Can you imagine being able to sit with the child where you are making a significant difference in their lives?

Accessing College Education
Footbridge is identifying qualified foreign national students and giving them the “hand-up” by offering scholarship opportunities for continuing education in the fields of ministry, education, or medicine to achieve their educational goals and dreams. Qualified students go through an interview process that considers their current family and financial situation along with personal maturity and spiritual walk. Once a candidate is accepted, an individualized scholarship plan is discussed and agreed upon. Donors that are giving to a particular individual, or the program in general, are updated throughout the year on the progress of the student, have access to email, and can communicate one-on-one if desired.
Assessing Vocational Education
Vocational School offers courses in automotive mechanics, electrical trade, masonry, and plumbing. Your partnership will provide the education and technical skills to train students in specific vocations that will change their lives, their families, and the community as a whole.
Although a huge proponent of higher education where appropriate, graduating students from K-12 school and sending them to college is not always the solution. The alternative is vocational/technical training, providing youth with the skills needed to access the job market, obtain a decent job and cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit is the way to go and will get the job of changing the world done faster.
Through vocational training, we can empower young people to become self-employed and free from the limitations of working for someone else, allowing students to remain Kingdom-focused through greater time and financial freedom.
